Job Summary

Regulatory Data Entry Specialist is responsible for maintaining system data related to raw materials and formulas, using multiple applications. Accurate data is critical to the labeling of our products. We’re hiring 4 part-time team members for a 6-month contract at 20 hours per week. The schedule is flexible as long as work is completed and hour expectations are met.

Essential Functions

  • Maintains system data in a timely manner, using multiple applications to input and update data. Requires meticulous attention to detail. Verifies the correctness of the data submitted based on system requirements and limitations.
  • Ongoing problem resolution involving products and components.
  • Enter raw material and formulation data.
  • Assists in general office duties, primarily in gathering, preparing and inputting information.
  • Review and assess label claims and identify required testing defined in the product specification.
  • Verify data entered by teammates.
  • Resolves administrative problems by analyzing data and identifying solutions.
  • Reviews and answers correspondence.
  • Performs other similar or related duties, as requested or assigned.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline preferred or similar coursework in math and science disciplines.
  • Strong analytical and computer skills with advanced use of excel spreadsheets, databases, PowerPoint etc.
  • Ability to gather and consolidate data accurately in a timely manner.

Physical Requirements

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
  • The employee must exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include near acuity, far acuity, depth perception, accommodation, color vision, and field of vision.
