Job Overview
We’re looking for a dedicated and skilled Material Handler/Forklift Operator to join our brewery team. This role plays an essential part in ensuring the smooth operation of our brewing process by handling the movement, storage, and organization of raw materials, ingredients, and finished products. Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other equipment to move raw materials, supplies, and finished products across the brewery premises.
- Load and unload delivery trucks safely and efficiently.
- Organize and store raw materials and products in designated areas, following inventory guidelines.
- Track and document material movement, ensuring inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to uphold brewery safety and hygiene standards.
- Inspect forklift and other material handling equipment before and after use; report any maintenance needs or malfunctions.
- Assist with the brewing and packaging teams by providing materials as needed.
- Support brewery operations, including occasional manual loading/unloading as necessary.
- Performs other related duties as assigned and/or required.

What You Need:
- 5+ year of material handling experience, preferably in a warehouse or manufacturing environment; experience in the brewing or beverage industry is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid forklift certification and proven experience as a forklift operator.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and an understanding of inventory systems.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform tasks that involve standing, bending, and reaching.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Basic general math skills (add, subtract, and multiply)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

What Will Set You Apart:
