Hulu Marketing is seeking a Manager, Brand Marketing who will be an important leader and addition to the team. You’ll be responsible for executing the marketing strategy and campaigns for Hulu and Hulu+Live TV (in the U.S.) that achieve brand, engagement, retention and acquisition goals. This role will manage different projects that include tune-in campaigns, partner management, live activations and retention programs like Hulu Perks. The role will require excellent executional and communication skills, and a penchant for strategic and creative problem solving.

The ideal candidate is a big-picture strategic thinker who loves TV (sports and entertainment), has a great attitude, exemplary organization skills, and ability to manage multiple workstreams at the same time. Partner marketing skills and knowledge of working with media, creative, and content teams are desired.

 

In this role, you will work closely with many Hulu and The Walt Disney Company teams including Live TV content partnerships, media, creative, PR, CRM, social, subscriber acquisition, finance, and product. You’ll also build strong relationships and work with some of the most prominent external networks, partners, and sports leagues.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Reporting into the Director of Brand, you will oversee Hulu and Hulu + Live TV campaigns that include sports, music, and entertainment to ensure alignment with Hulu’s overall business objectives, goals and priorities.

  • Develop strategic marketing briefs with insights on how to grow and retain the Live TV audience and have strong execution skills to build out campaigns that ladder up to those

  • Manage retention programs like Hulu Perks, creating a pipeline of rewards, sweepstakes and discounts with the brand partnerships team. You will manage campaigns for Hulu

  • Perks and work closely with the Disney+ team focusing on rewarding Bundle

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns for Live Events on Hulu that include exclusive music festivals and other key events to drive earned media, engagement, and build brand love.

  • Support key network partner relationships, campaigns and requests.

  • Oversee marketing budget and generate detailed resource plans of allocation.

  • Work cross-functionally to achieve success, including collaborating with Content and

  • Brand Partnerships, Product, Creative, Media, Social, CRM, Editorial, PR and more.

  • Report out the key learnings/insights of tentpole marketing initiatives (unpacking) to evolve and optimize for maximum success.

 

WHAT TO BRING

  • 5+ years of professional experience working in a fast-paced environment, media/TV company a plus.

  • Experience leading numerous 360 marketing campaigns from strategy, creative execution to launch.

  • An interest in the sports and music space, but also an understanding of entertainment

  • Ability to think big-picture and work with all levels of an organization to drive clarity on campaign goals, and short term/long term strategy.

  • Possess excellent communication skills and excel in partner management.

  • Ability to lead a team, empower others and get results through motivation of others.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to switch between creative projects and analytical/technical projects with ease.

 

EDUCATION:

 

Bachelors Degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent work experience

 

 

The hiring range for this position in Santa Monica, CA is $103,500.00 to $138,800.00 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
