Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Live Stream Moderator to manage live stream interactions and enhance the experience for both creators and audiences. This combined role will require you to moderate live sessions, engage with viewers, assist in product promotions, and create engaging talking points for creators to drive successful live streams. You will also analyze post-live performance to provide insights that optimize future sessions. The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, is solution-oriented, and possesses a deep understanding of TikTok live streaming and social commerce.

Key Responsibilities:  

Live Stream Moderation & Engagement:

  • Moderate live stream comments to ensure a positive, friendly, and productive environment for viewers and creators.
  • Actively manage audience engagement by responding to comments, addressing concerns, and encouraging participation.
  • Handle live sales launches and assist in product promotions, ensuring all sales-related content is delivered clearly and seamlessly.
  • Troubleshoot issues in real-time during live sessions, offering quick solutions to any technical or operational challenges that arise.

Talking Points Creation:

  • Craft engaging and concise scripts that highlight the key features of products while maintaining the natural flow of the live stream. Ensuring the content is aligned with brand messaging and product promotions.
  • Work with the team to gather insights from past live sessions and incorporate those findings into future talking points, ensuring content evolves based on audience preferences and feedback.
     

Post-Live Analysis & Insights:

  • Analyze live session performance using platform metrics to assess audience engagement, product performance, and overall session effectiveness.
  • Provide actionable feedback on engagement trends, top-performing products, and areas for improvement in future sessions.
  • Create weekly performance recaps summarizing key metrics, product feedback, and recommendations for future live sessions.

Team Communication & Reporting:

  • Attend weekly all-team meetings to provide updates on live stream sessions, discuss performance data, and share insights for improving future sessions.
  • Collaborate with the team and creators to ensure that talking points, content, and product promotions align with overall brand goals.

Qualifications: 

  • Understanding of TikTok live streaming, audience engagement, and the social commerce landscape.
  • Strong ability to moderate live sessions and keep the audience engaged while managing multiple conversations and troubleshooting in real time.
  • Excellent written communication skills with experience in creating engaging, clear, and concise talking points for live content.
  • Ability to track and analyze performance data, using insights to improve future live sessions.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, especially under time pressure.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to take initiative in identifying areas for improvement without needing extensive guidance.

Compensation:

  • $20-25/hr 
  • 20 to 40 hours per week for 75 day contract
