Job Summary

The Azure Administrator ensures the stable operation of Surescripts' Corporate application services. This includes maintaining and supporting a wide variety of software solutions. Also serving as an escalation contact for desktop support to resolve end user issues with corporate services and software.

  • Develop, document, and implement best practices for the Corporate Applications group
  • Support and maintain a wide variety of on-prem and cloud solutions
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to supported systems and services
  • Administer tools that manage end user devices, including patching and application deployment
  • Administer Office365 and related Azure technologies - Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Conditional Access, AAD, etc.
  • Support on-prem Active Directory environment - users, groups, GPOs, file shares
  • Support Horizon virtual desktop environment - deployment and configuration
  • Provide escalation and advisory support to service desk team
  • Scripting common tasks using PowerShell
  • Participate in on-call rotation for supported systems


Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, information sciences or related field or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience with Azure/O365 administration
  • 2+ years of experience with Desktop/Endpoint management software (Sccm, Jamf, BigFix, Intune, etc)
  • Support Office 365 solutions such as AzureAD, Exchange Online, Teams, Conditional Access, and Intune
  • PowerShell scripting against Microsoft systems such as AD, Azure, Office365, Exchange, Windows 10
  • Editing of Group Policy settings
  • Troubleshooting experience of workstation, server, and mobile operating systems, including Windows 10, Server 2016/2019, iOS, Android
  • Experience and knowledge of LAN/WAN Concepts: Routers, Switches, VPN, Multifactor authentication, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls
  • Experience with ServiceNow or other Helpdesk ticketing solutions


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
  • Knowledge of Mac OS X
  • Familiar with client management tools such as Jamf, SCCM, Endpoint Manager/Intune
  • Familiar with Service Desk support practices
  • Experience in HTML, Web authoring, and related technology
  • ITIL methodologies

At Surescripts, base pay is one part of our Total Rewards Package (which may also include bonus, benefits etc.) and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this position is $93,198 - $113,909 per year. Your base pay may vary within or outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including (but not limited to) your qualifications, skills, experience, and location.
