- Monitor and protect company assets including employees, customers, and store property.
- Identify and investigate potential security threats or risks, and take appropriate action to mitigate them.
- Maintain a high level of alertness and awareness to detect any suspicious behavior or activity.
- Conduct regular security checks and audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with store leadership and other team members to develop and implement security strategies.
- Train and educate store employees on security measures and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Respond to and handle any security incidents or emergencies in a timely and efficient manner.
- Utilize surveillance technology to monitor store activity and identify any potential security issues.
- Stay up-to-date on industry security trends and make recommendations for improvements to current security practices.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and other external partners as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of security incidents and investigations.
- Communicate and work effectively with all levels of management and employees.
- Uphold company values and policies, while also promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Display a professional and customer-focused attitude at all times.

Job Qualifications
- Extensive Knowledge Of Loss Prevention Techniques And Strategies: A Successful Asset Protection Specialist At The Home Depot Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Loss Prevention Practices And Be Able To Implement Them Effectively In The Store.
- Experience In Surveillance And Investigations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Surveillance And Investigations, Including Knowledge Of Cctv Systems And The Ability To Conduct Internal And External Investigations.
- Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As An Asset Protection Specialist, You Will Be Working With Various Store Teams And Interacting With Customers. Strong Communication Skills And The Ability To Build Relationships Are Essential For This Role.
- Attention To Detail And Ability To Identify Potential Risks: The Home Depot Values Individuals Who Can Pay Attention To Detail And Identify Potential Risks In The Store. This Includes Being Able To Spot Suspicious Behaviors And Take Appropriate Action.
