Wayfair’s Cabinetry team is looking for creative, driven, empathetic, entrepreneurial design sales consultants to help launch one of our newest product offerings. This role will be responsible for helping customers create / envision a kitchen they love and recommend products that meet their individual budget, style and space. Since this is a new product offering, customers will have to utilize designer assistance in order to place orders, and you will be a part of the founding team of kitchen designers at Wayfair. This role will work very closely with our customers as well as other supporting teams.

What you’ll do:

  • Leverage your interior design and sales expertise in the kitchen space to help navigate our customers through their design needs and purchases
  • Guide customers through the custom cabinetry purchasing process: functional 3D renderings, requesting samples from manufacturers, placing orders for the customer, and upselling compatible products
  • Navigate through multiple software applications, 3rd party and proprietary tools to provide customers with recommendations for their budget, style and space as well as manage customer ordering and customers post order questions.
  • Produce quality, detailed, accurate kitchen and bath & other room designs from customer sketches, planning guides and/or blueprints utilizing 20/20 Design Software
  • Meet or exceed your sales, customer satisfaction targets and other established KPIs
  • Efficiently manage your time and always put the customer experience first to ensure project timelines are met
  • Ask great questions that allow you to provide a complete sales solution for your customers
  • Exemplify a positive and professional attitude on a daily basis with customers and your team members
  • Bring a willingness to share innovative ideas and solutions to continuously improve team operations
  • Engage in a high energy, focused and dynamic work environment where there can be rapid changes in products, promotions, offerings and operations
  • Engage customers with a high degree of empathy and professionalism in ways that ensure great Net Promoter Scores (NPS) for you and Wayfair

What you’ll need:

 

  • 5+ years of sales experience (preferably in kitchen/interior design), and proficiency in 2020 Design Live
  • Passion for great customer service and a drive to exceed sales targets
  • Strong organization, self-motivation, communication and relationship management skills
  • Track record of thriving in a fast paced and changing environment
  • A sense of urgency in providing exceptional customer service
  • Demonstrated use of technology to drive business results, ability pivot and ramp up on new software programs quickly
  • Effectively communicate and interact with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manor
  • A team player, who is eager to collaborate with team members and other teams.
  • Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office applications and technical acumen to learn new business systems
