Sr. 3D Artist , Device Brand Studio Job at Amazon in New York -id-882

The Amazon Device Brand Studio (DBS) is seeking a senior 3D artist to raise the bar on CGI renders by building efficient workflows, creative standards, tools, and best practices at both an artistic and technical level within our 3D pipeline to scale the approach across content types and locales. This position is responsible for art-directing and delivering photo-realistic device renders, as well as supporting CGI systems, workflows for AI-generated imagery, and lifestyle renders that scale in volume and quality.

3D device and lifestyle renderings play a critical role in every Amazon device launch. These are typically the first device images customers see when visiting our homepage and detail pages. They inspire and empower customers to purchase devices with confidence. The senior 3D artist works closely with creative directors, program managers, and product leads across the entire devices and services organization to ensure our customers receive the best 3D product experience possible across all marketing channels.

The Device Render Team is made up of highly talented CGI artists that understand Amazon customers and how to deliver high quality, photo-realistic device renders at scale. We respect each other and support each other through every aspect of the CGI process. We develop clear source files, documentation and processes, so every artist on the team can easily work within our project pipeline, at any time. We lean on each other for great ideas and inspiration and push each other to learn more and explore new CGI territories for AI and other cutting-edge technologies.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of design experience
  • Have an available online portfolio
  • Experience art directing motion designers, illustrators, writers and content creators
  • Experience partnering with technical partners for design implementation


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of marketing fundamentals and ability to implement them to create dynamic advertising solutions
  • Knowledge of typographic and brand design principles

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $210,300/year in our highest geographic market.
