Social Media Content Creator (Remote) ID-11094

Our client in the hospitality industry is looking for a Social Media Content Creator. In this role, you will assist with content capture, content sourcing, and creation, acting as a strategic thought partner for the brands' paid and organic content. Your output will be the first point of contact between the brand and the consumer and will be vital in bringing the brands to life across various platforms.

 You will work directly with the Social Media Strategist to assist with cross-functional social promotional plans that drive business needs and keep an ongoing drumbeat of content across paid and organic content, including Instagram reels, carousels, stories, and other social media-first formats. This role will live and breathe social, identifying proactive real-time content opportunities through a luxury brand lens. You will be responsible for supporting the successful execution of the brand social strategy and collaborating closely with the Social Media Strategist.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce drum-beat social media content (paid and organic), adapt real-time trends into social-first assets, and support more extensive business campaign social content.
  • Design, build, and illustrate assets and elements for the brand's social platforms (Main focus on Instagram and Facebook).
  • Create quick-turn, reactive content for opportunistic moments in culture and online.
  • Brainstorm, pitch, and conceptualize original content ideas for social media platforms.
  • Adhere to brand identity standards and guidelines while helping to inform the evolution and extension of the written and visual identity—craft copy following brand tone and voice guidelines.
  • Manage the storytelling behind each creative output to ensure it is clear, concise, snackable, and accurate to the content.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our brands, target audiences, and competitor activities.
  • Assist with collaborating with partners to understand business objectives, marketing objectives, and creative needs.
  • Balance multiple projects successfully to meet deadlines and collaborate across multiple stakeholders with different priorities.
  • Use campaign and content insights to identify opportunities to improve content performance.

Qualifications:

  • Strong portfolio and proven ability to create social media content for luxury brands, showing a range of experience, concepts, and written and visual styles.
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Suite and video editing platforms.
  • Knowledge of copy and design fundamentals, messaging hierarchy, and storytelling.
  • Must be able to apply style guides creatively while upholding brand identity. Comfortable writing copy in an elevated brand voice.
  • Demonstrated understanding of current social media best practices - particularly Instagram - and a willingness to explore emerging platforms
  • Ability to develop/present/pitch creative ideas.
  • Has a passion for staying in touch with the latest social media trends.
