Job Overview

Macy’s launched an online Marketplace and we are seeking an Associate of Seller Learning & Communications who will be a key leader for this top company growth initiative that accelerates Macy’s Inc. Fashion and Style leadership ambitions. As the Associate of Seller Learning & Communications, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the education, training and communication programs aimed at enhancing the success of our seller community.

Essential Functions

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive seller education and communication strategy that aligns with Macy’s Marketplace mission and seller success goals.
  • Lead the design, development, evaluation, pilot, and delivery of learning and communication programs in partnership with shared services.
  • Oversee the development and content creation of seller training & education curriculum, including training materials, webinars, videos, and documentation that caters to various seller segments and skill levels.
  • Facilitate and communicate trainings with seller population to drive engagement and manage through change.
  • Manage seller communications calendar and lead the delivery of newsletters, webinars, videos, and other content.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify seller learning and communication needs and ensure seamless integration of content into the overall seller experience.
  • Gather feedback directly from sellers regarding the effectiveness of training and communication programs, and implement improvements to increase satisfaction.
  • Create policies, practices, and methods for applying consistent branding and content standards.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of seller education and communication programs, making data-driven improvements as needed.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
  • We encourage candidates with either a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field to apply.
  • 3+ years' experience designing and implementing education and communications programs targeted towards external partners (e.g. vendors, sellers, etc); experience in retail, e-commerce, or marketplaces a plus.
  • Experience developing courses/learning tools using digital platforms (e.g. LMS systems)
  • Knowledge and application of learning principles, instructional design, and learning methodologies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to leverage data to drive informed decisions and continuous improvement toward world-class standards.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering world-class results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinking and a passion for storytelling.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and Company needs.
