Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver nursing care to seniors and individuals with diverse health needs, focusing on those with chronic conditions or injuries.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, hygiene, nail and skin care, and ensuring adequate nutritional intake.
  • Support ambulation, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises as needed.
  • Monitor vital signs, track intake/output, manage blood glucose levels, and document any changes in patient condition.
  • Collaborate effectively with nurse aides and medication aides to implement and follow patient care plans.
  • Observe patients closely and alert the facility supervisor of any concerns necessitating adjustments in care, medication, or medical equipment.
  • Perform additional nursing duties as required.

  • Strong nursing skills in patient care and support.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Active RN license in South Dakota or eligibility through reciprocity or a multi-state license.
  • Maintenance of required certifications is essential.
  • Experience in nursing is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
