Amazon Grocery Logistics is looking for a Program Manager with a strong delivery record and proven project management experience to own strategic, tactical, and cross-functional programs. The ideal candidate for this role is excited about the opportunity to make customer-facing changes and drive cost improvements for the business. This role require scoping and creating project plans, developing processes, coordinating and driving execution, and communicating to senior management on status, risks and process/product changes. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential.

A highly analytical candidate with program/project management or grocery operations experience is an ideal fit, as this role will require partnership with multiple teams (Tech, Operations, Analytics, Finance, Workforce Planning, Delivery and other teams) to lead, influence, and support business critical projects and initiatives. Robust understanding of fulfillment operations including order fulfillment, inventory flows, constrained warehouse assets (capacity and labor), quality, and long term roadmaps will help develop new innovations within complex ultra-fast operations.

 

You will be expected to interact with senior-level audiences to provide updates and make strategic recommendations that will achieve the long-term vision for optimal balance between business need and operator experience. Documentation of requirements, project management, and cross-team coordination skills are essential.

 

Key job responsibilities

 

Designing and modeling new operations processes for developing business needs to prove quality, cost, and scalability goals as critical outputs.

Gathering and analyzing data across order fulfillment functions to establish global standards for operations in partnership with cross functional teams.

Rethinking the grocery offerings we provide to customers to optimize for speed, convenience, and cost.

Building strong partnership with operations field leaders to understand improvement opportunities.

Analyzing and solving operational barriers with a focus on understanding root causes and driving forward solves.

Leading project teams to plan, organize, and execute complex projects across multiple organizations and stakeholders to enable the launch of new projects and processes.

Innovating to improve customer experience and continuously remove cost from our fulfillment network.

Designing new metrics and enhancing existing metrics to support the future state of the business.

 

Basic Qualifications

 

3+ years of program or project management experience

3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

3+ years of driving process improvements experience

Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
