The Role

We're looking for a new Product Quality & Compliance Manager who will drive the implementation and execution of quality standards across Redbubble, ensuring customers and artists receive quality products.

Reporting to the Senior Director - Product Quality, Safety & Compliance, this role will develop and implement risk-based product compliance requirements across Redbubble's global fulfilment network and own the Social Responsibility audit portion of our Social Impact & Sustainability mission. This will be achieved by the planning and execution of Social Responsibility (SR) Audits across the Marketplace's global supply chain. This is a truly cross-functional and collaborative role, driving improvements and building strategic plans to increase efficiency, reduce cost and manage risk.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Consider the needs of artists, suppliers and end customers to develop and execute clear quality strategies that improve the customer experience
  • Support regular reporting to all levels of the organization (Board, Executives & Senior Leaders) on key quality metrics
  • Manage partnerships with external third-party testing labs and industry experts
  • Drive cross-functional projects to identify and improve product quality, compliance and social responsibility issues
  • Work closely with technology teams on defining and communicating business needs
  • Manage the independent third-party audit program to plan and execute virtual and onsite Social Responsibility Audits of the fulfilment partners to schedule and on budget
  • Deliver innovation, inform risk and drive corrective actions that result from audits, enhancing Redbubble's processes to operate at scale
  • Drive awareness to cross-functional stakeholders on product quality, compliance and social responsibility obligations within appropriate teams

What You'll Bring:
  • 2 - 5 years of product quality, compliance and/or social responsibility experience within a consumer goods / food / industrial supply chain
  • Familiarity and awareness of primary regulatory standards bodies governing product compliance and associated requirements
  • Experience establishing processes to assess quality and compliance at scale
  • Experience partnering with internal stakeholders to develop corrective and preventative actions arising from quality and compliance issues
  • Ability to translate complex product quality information into understandable, actionable insights for internal teams and suppliers
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills - able to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions
