We are seeking a Marketing Specialist/Copywriter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a roll-up-your-sleeves get-it-done attitude; they’ll be team-oriented with a curious mind and eager to learn. This person must be well-organized, highly detailed, a self-starter, and have a love for writing and publishing. The Core Competencies of the role are Marketing and Content Strategy and Implementation, Strong Writing and Communication Skills, SEO and Digital Marketing Knowledge, Audience and Marketing Research Skills and Project Management. This role will encompass our digital and offline presence, and will include: content creation; lead acquisition; social media; visibility through speaking events, conferences, and publications; copywriting; collaborations (partnerships/referral programs); and other traditional marketing tactics.

The candidate that joins us will have experience setting, directing, and implementing marketing campaigns (social media/blog/email publications/webinars), strong technical acumen, and is an excellent copywriter. We are searching for someone who is eager to weave themselves into the fabric of our organization and ready to ensure our marketing initiatives are creative, strategic, and supported by strong, repeatable systems.

This full-time role will report directly to our CEO and also work closely with our DOO.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing and Content Strategy and Implementation

Help cultivate RxTrail’s brand identity.

Develop and oversee all strategy, planning, implementation, and day-to-day management of marketing efforts to attract leads, increase conversion, and engage existing customer base

Develop content strategies that align with overall marketing goals, including digital campaigns, email marketing, and social media initiatives

Create cross-channel messaging plans and promotional strategies to grow leads, convert customers, and increase retention

Strategically map out launch and execution plans for each campaign and live event

Develop, maintain and own a multi-channel roadmap and marketing calendar that ensures RxTrail’s goals are achieved

Identify and track key marketing KPIs on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, reporting on relevant marketing outcomes to ensure company goals are achieved

Analyze marketing and sales data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimization

Identify new market opportunities to support campaign creations

Generate innovative ideas and new strategies for promoting our brand and services

Proactively look for ways to repurpose existing content

Strategize ways to improve and extend relationships with existing clients, developing systems, scripts, and processes when appropriate

Work with CEO to improve sales script and pre-sale assets to increase conversion rates

Implement creation of marketing assets and content (social media, ads, case studies, emails, sales pages, newsletter, etc.)

Oversee and implement email list growth and management

Develop digital and social media campaigns to increase web traffic and optimize conversions

Oversee and direct development of relationships with key professional organizations, industry publications, and trade shows

Manage marketing budget

Strong Writing and Communication Skills

Write, edit and proofread marketing materials, including blog posts, articles, social media posts, email campaigns, website copy, and promotional materials

Ensure that all content adheres to the brand’s tone, style, and messaging guidelines, maintaining consistency across all platforms

Craft compelling narratives that resonate with our target customers and clearly communicate our value proposition

Tailor messaging to suit different platforms and formats, from long-form to concise social media posts or ad copy

Research, write, and produce in-depth case studies and white papers that highlight RxTrail’s successes and expertise, supporting sales and marketing efforts.

Write and edit content for various marketing assets, including brochures, product descriptions, presentations, and sales collateral, ensuring alignment with the brand's messaging and goals

SEO, Digital, and In-Person Marketing Knowledge

Conduct keyword research, implement on-page SEO best practices, and optimize content for search engine visibility

Monitor and analyze content performance using tools like Google Analytics, adjust strategies based on data insights, and report on key metrics

Create copy and materials for trade shows, events, and promotional activities, including brochures, banners, and presentations

Collaborate with event planners and sales teams to ensure marketing materials

effectively support in-person engagement efforts

Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that seamlessly blend digital and in-person tactics to maximize reach and engagement

Ensure that case studies and white papers are optimized for both digital distribution and in-person use, such as at trade shows or sales meetings

Audience and Market Research Skills

Conduct market research to understand RxTrail’s target customer’s demographics, behaviors, needs, and preferences

Analyze competitors’ strategies to identify opportunities for differentiation and to stay ahead in the market

Stay updated on industry trends, consumer behavior shifts, and emerging technologies to ensure content remains relevant and effective

Gather and analyze feedback from various channels (surveys, social media, customer interactions) to continuously improve content and strategies

Identify and target specific market segments with tailored content and messaging to improve engagement and conversion rates
