Actively participate in safety programs and implement solutions initiated by these activities to resolve or prevent safety issues.

Requirements

Please note: This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR), as such, applicants must be a U.S. person defined as a citizen, national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee.
Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering Degree with 4+ years of experience in manufacturing is highly preferred.
Experience with process automation and data collection through various I/O tools preferred.
PLC knowledge/experience is also desired.
Competency with computer aided design software (CAD)
Must be able to work in a hands-on environment, interacting closely with manufacturing operators and supervision as well as the maintenance crews.
Sound project management skills.
Proficient in MS Office Software such as Excel, Word, Outlook.
Working knowledge of lean manufacturing tools is preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proactive ability to anticipate questions and ensure high quality products
Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with multiple changing priorities.
