Job description: Horizon BCBSNJ employees must live in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut or Delaware
Job Summary: Under direct supervision performs research and root cause analysis for customers. Assists with recommendations and implementations for new processes and solutions. This is an entry level position performing routine assignments.
Hybrid Role: 2 Days in Office (Newark) 3 Days WFH
Responsibilities:
Review and follow-up on data reporting for internal and external sources; identify and communicate business needs as necessary.
Assist in creating forecasting tools using current technology/systems (Access, Excel, Monarch, etc.).
May participate in various internal and external project workgroups.
May recommend solutions based on data analysis to increase business efficiency.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for projects, implementations, system fixes and enhancements, etc.
May prepare materials for internal and external audit activities.
Perform other relevant tasks as assigned by management to include: scheduling meetings and coordination of all support.
The role supports multiple Directors, each with specific tasks needed to support.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred. High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. .
Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years experience in operational role.
Role is both administrative and analytical, with a heavy emphasis on administrative tasks.
Knowledge:
Strong Power Point skills strongly preferred.
Knowledge of Healthcare industry preferred.
Strong Computer Skills, Microsoft Office products to include (Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.).
Team Player, Strong Analytical and Interpersonal Skills.
Travel:
Some travel may be required.
