Customer Experience Engineer

Research and test operating systems-level software compilers, and network distribution software. Plan, architect, deploy, or support complex client/server or base software systems. Set operational specifications and formulate and analyze software requirements. Establish standards for a design, architecture, and recovery process that results in comprehensive, scalable recovery plans across multiple groups and services. Develop or contribute to creating an implementation, validation, and rollback plan. Lead investigations of problems by using standard and custom problem management tools and processes. Telecommuting permitted 100% from any location in the U.S.
Minimum Requirements
-Education: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Math, IT, Electrical Engineering, or related.
-Experience: 36 months of experience in any computer related occupation.
-In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, employer will accept an additional 2 years of experience in any computer related occupation.
-Specific Skills: This position requires 36 months of experience in each of the following: Azure Services; Azure; Azure Active Directory; Azure AD Connect; and Active Directory Federation Services.
-Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.

Pay Range and Benefits Information
The offered base pay range for this specific position (EG2420989a), based in Redmond, WA (but telecommuting permitted 100% from any location in the U.S.), is $182,312 to $212,312 per year.
Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
