Aligns with and applies BCBST QA best practices to ensure adherence to the policies and procedures.

Creating and executing test scripts for functional, automation and/or performance testing, and deriving testing requirements from functional/business requirements to ensure the quality of applications delivered by utilizing relevant toolsets.

Document and communicate test status at the individual level. Assists in resolving the problems identified by team members. Create and review test reports

Job Qualifications

 

Education

 

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required. Equivalent experience is defined as 4 years of professional work experience in a corporate environment

Experience

 

1 year - Experience in industry-leading database environments, such as DB2/UDB, Oracle, SQL Server, or Sybase, required

1 year - Experience in analytics, reporting and data utilizing industry-standard tools

1 year - Experience with SQL required

1 year - Experience testing applications where no GUI testing was involved; all testing was back-end processing, file processing, and/or interfaces between systems required

Skills Certifications

 

Accuracy and attention to detail

Must possess ability to maintain professional relationships with vendors and other external partners

Job Specific Requirements:

 

Strong hands on experience in Test Automation Tools and exposure to Automation frameworks like Testng or Hybrid frameworks
